O araba sürer> pasif olarak söylemek istediğimizde cümledeki nesneyi başa getirip fiilin üçüncü hali(fiilden önce am is are gelir) ile söylenir.(v3) Car is driven. - Araba sürülür. Gerçek özne verilerekde kullanılabilinir. Car is driven by Ayşe veya Car is driven by her gibi. düzenli fiiller ile bir örnek verelim. Father turns off TV at night. Babam geceleri TVyi kapatır. TV is turned off at night. TV geceleri kapanır(tılır) Tv is turned off at night by father. TV geceleri babam tarafından kapatılır.
