3/4 cup brown sugar<BR>4 teaspoons butter<BR>1/4 cup cream or milk (Half & Half is good)<BR><br><br>1/2 teaspoon vanilla<BR>1/2 cup coconut<BR>1/2 cup chopped nuts<BR>


Cook for 3 or 4 minutes: brown sugar, butter, cream or milk and vanilla. Add coconut and nuts to mixture and beat. Spread on cake while HOT.<br><br><br><br>This is the topping for the OATMEAL CAKE recipe in the cake section or for any German Chocolate cake.
